Nicola Hetz has over 12 years of experience in stage, screen, and events costumes, floral design, and prop styling. Nicola is now the co-owner of Compass Rose Collective, a multidisciplinary design studio and creative hub, where she continues to hone her craft. Her on-screen credits include being lead seamstress for Road to Emmauss, Production Designer for Céline Tshika’s ‘No Worries if Not’ and ‘The Bear’ videos.
Nicola has extensive experience working in TVCs in numerous capacities in art and wardrobe.
She’s available for the following roles: costume design/styling, manufacturing, Props Master, and costume assistant.

I graduated in 1996 from Rhodes University with a BFA (Fine Art) and have worked in the commercial, film & TV industry since then.

ART DIRECTOR | SET DECORATOR | PROPS MASTER
Sam’s career started in the early 90’s in London then she made the move to Cape Town, continuing her impressive 31 year career in film, commercials, TV and stills production. With her roots in the UK film industry during the 90s, Sam has honed her skills as a Researcher, Production Designer, Art Director, Props Master, Set Director, Wardrobe Mistress and even ventured into Production and Producer roles.
Throughout her illustrious career, Sam has collaborated on both international and local films, TV Commercials & TV Series showcasing her incredible talents across the globe. From Film Afrika, Moonlighting Films, Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures, Scott Free Productions, Universal Pictures, Netflix to Sony Pictures LA, Sam has left her creative mark on diverse projects and this has further solidified her position as a sought-after professional in the industry.
Sam’s versatility, dedication, and keen eye for detail, psychology of character and layering have made her an invaluable asset to any production. Her vast experience and passion for storytelling continue to shine through her work. Sam is represented by Cream Crew.
PROPS MASTER
MMD Artistry represents Multi Medium Designs. It was established by Stephanie Esterhuizen, who embarked on her creative journey in 2001 through Fashion Design and Clothing Construction. While working in fashion, she collaborated with Michael Ivy Haute Couture and had the opportunity to assist in crafting swimwear for Sports Illustrated and Haute Couture garments for private clients. However, Stephanie was always curious about how she could further utilize her practical skills, leading her to explore the field of Upholstery. Here, she discovered how her fashion background aided her in reupholstering and restoring furniture, utilizing skills like pattern making, manufacturing, and tailoring to enhance the structure and overall design of a room. This passion drove her to pursue further studies in Costume, Makeup, Styling, and Production Design at AFDA. Upon completing her education, she made her mark in the film industry, not only through Costume Manufacturing and Styling but also through her love for the Art Department. Stephanie climbed the ranks from art runner to Props Master, approaching every challenge on and off set with solution-oriented optimism.
