Sam’s career started in the early 90’s in London then she made the move to Cape Town, continuing her impressive 31 year career in film, commercials, TV and stills production. With her roots in the UK film industry during the 90s, Sam has honed her skills as a Researcher, Production Designer, Art Director, Props Master, Set Director, Wardrobe Mistress and even ventured into Production and Producer roles.
Throughout her illustrious career, Sam has collaborated on both international and local films, TV Commercials & TV Series showcasing her incredible talents across the globe. From Film Afrika, Moonlighting Films, Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures, Scott Free Productions, Universal Pictures, Netflix to Sony Pictures LA, Sam has left her creative mark on diverse projects and this has further solidified her position as a sought-after professional in the industry.
Sam’s versatility, dedication, and keen eye for detail, psychology of character and layering have made her an invaluable asset to any production. Her vast experience and passion for storytelling continue to shine through her work. Sam is represented by Cream Crew.
Soundspeed was founded in 2015 and provides location sound solutions for the local and international markets. On the rental side, we offer experienced sound crew, top-rated sound equipment at competitive rates, for any audio-visual project or genre. From a cameraman in need of an onboard microphone kit, local and international sound technicians in need of ENG gear or “add-ons” to their existing kits, to larger productions requiring full sound facilitation – Soundspeed can tailor the equipment to your specifications. Our sound technicians are not only highly skilled and experienced but also deeply passionate about their work. The aim is friendly and focused collaboration, to ensure a positive working environment, for the best sound recording results.

Emma Wilson, founder of “Eat with Emma” is a leading South African food stylist, food director, and culinary producer known for her bold, flavour-forward visual storytelling.
She also owns and runs Swipeframe Studio in Cape Town, a purpose-built tabletop production space designed for high-end food, beverage, and product content. As the sole creative lead, she oversees everything from concept development and storyboarding to hands-on styling and direction. Her work has featured in major ad campaigns, cookbooks, and digital platforms. She’s trusted by top agencies, chefs, and producers for her ability to create content that’s both visually striking, commercially sharp and production friendly with a “can do” attitude.
